FAQ
How long is a counselling session?

A counselling session is 50-minutes long and beings at the time it is booked for.  Usually, they are at the same time and day each week.

How is counselling different from talking to a friend?
Friendships offer some of the best parts of the adventure of life.  However, there are times when even the best of friends cannot replace the cathartic and therapeutic experience of regular meetings with a trained counsellor.  Counselling offers a non-judgemental and confidential space where you can be completely honest.  You have the full undivided attention of a counsellor who is honest, unbiased, objective and qualified to support you to make lasting changes.  Unlike friends, counsellors do not give advice as we believe that you know what is best for you.

How many session will I need?
The amount of sessions are mutually agreed between counsellor and client.  Initial goals for counselling are discussed in the first session and reviewed periodically.

How much will it cost?
I charge £55 for a 50-minute session.  Payment is made via a payment link that I email to clients after the session and is payable within 7 days.

What happens if I miss a counselling session?
Cancelling a sessions with more than 24 hours notice is charged at £15.  Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours are charged in full.
